What happens after I apply?
Our hiring process is very in depth in an effort to bring on only the very best. We do not hire just to fill a space. The patients, clients, referring veterinarians and our culture are all too important. We hire for talent, attitude, credentials and experience. We are willing to wait until we find the right candidate. This is good news for you because if you are selected you can rest assured you are going to work among great people.
Your application will be reviewed and if you meet our guidelines then a phase I, phone interview, will be set up. If things go well then you will be asked to come in for a phase II, formal interview, where you will meet with members of the team. A phase III, working interview, is offered to those who are strong candidates overall and would add quality to our team. One week post phase III, you may follow up with the Hospital Administrator to find out your status.
Sometimes we are overwhelmed with excellent candidates so making a choice is often difficult. As an evolving hospital things can change in a heartbeat therefore an opportunity may present itself weeks or months after your initial interview. We will keep resumes and interview paperwork on file for one (1) year.
